Our quiz nights are some of the most popular evenings we run, and part of what makes them special is that we do not stick to the same format every time. Yes, there are general knowledge rounds, and yes, there will always be geography, history and sport questions for those who like the classics. But we also run themed evenings that take the quiz somewhere a little more specific and a lot more fun.
Classic TV shows are a firm favourite. Fans of shows like Only Fools and Horses, Friends, The Simpsons, Peaky Blinders, and the great British dramas that everyone has an opinion on will find plenty to keep them on their toes. Sport-themed quizzes pull in a brilliant crowd too, whether the focus is football, rugby, Formula One, cricket or the kind of left-field sporting trivia that catches even genuine fans off guard. We also run general themed evenings built around music, film, decades and more. The format is always warm, always competitive, and always accompanied by a great atmosphere and a well-stocked bar. Teams of up to six, no need to book in advance, though arriving a little early to claim a good table is always a wise move.
The Lucky Saint Quiz Back in January we hosted the Lucky Saint sponsored quiz, and it brought together one of the best crowds we have had for a midweek evening. The combination of brilliant questions, a generous prizes, and the kind of pub atmosphere that Greenwich does so well made it a night people are still talking about. The Admiral Hardy is proudly a pub with live music, and we run regular performances throughout the year. From acoustic acts on quieter evenings to more full-throated performances that fill Clarence Hall on a Saturday night, the music programme is always evolving and always worth catching. Our event spaces can accommodate a DJ or a full band, with a sound system installed and a dance floor that gets put to good use.
